What to do in Győr

• Sightseeing (of course)

• Visit the Zoo - website is only available in Hungarian unfortunately but at least there are some pictures to pick up on

• Indulging yourself at the Thermal Bath

• Taking a look at AUDI visitor’s centre 

• Watch a Hungarian musical at the National Theatre - I have linked in the one of the most famous Hungarian musical ever - where you can watch a short video too - Csárdáskirálynő. No need to understand the language, just listen to the music!:-)

• Eating out - the list of Hungarian specialties is endless

• Horseback riding

• Mextrém (Rope) Adventure Park at ETO Park - site is Hungarian, but I have linked in the galleries to get an idea 

• Watch a performance by the world famous Gyor Ballett

• Take a trip to Pannonhalma Abbey (UNESCO Heritage Site) or another village nearby

Gyor also offers a lot of cultural public events throughout the year especially during the summer months, such as concerts, special markets (e.g. wine festival), performances, exhibitions and other festivals.
